Education system in Pakistan Group discussion For ISSB

Education has moved becoming business in Pakistan. Education providers are not serving society but making money. They plan schedules and academic year to make more fees rather than educate students. First we need to introduce One education system in Pakistan for everyone. One syllabus, One system, and that system must be updated with current requirements and international standards.

Teacher’s salaries must be raised and they should not allowed to give private tuition. All private coaching center and tuition academies must be restricted. Schools and Colleges must provide all education within their hours and then Students must get some time for extra curriculum activities to make them fresh and make them creative. Text books must be as cheap as possible so everyone can afford and public libraries must be operated in all zones specially rural areas with the goal that everybody access information and books.

Teachers must be enlisted on merit and should get scholarships to complete their Do

ctorates program-mes. All teacher must be prepared to instruct. Not everyone can teach, They must get professional teaching diplomas and learn teaching techniques before landing job. Education must be free as its our basic right and need to live in current society.

The most important thing that our Government has disregarded, is those children who lives on pathways alongside roads and make their living by selling flowers, toys and cleaning vehicles windshield. That group of kids can be used in crimes, fear mongering activities or other social misconduct. They are from us and we must get them standard by teaching them, so they can fit in public arena.

And last but….. ‘Corruption’ must be wiped out from country as this has eaten merit from our society. Fake degrees are being sold, marks can be increased by paying money. We need an updated education system and contribute more money on education from financial plans as our future relies on it.
